ACT History

ACT was founded at Lake Highlands UMC in 1976 by Jeri Johnston as both a ministry and a great way to involve the community's youth in the arts. 

Since that time, hundreds of ACTors and tech crew youth have performed and served in our humble "theater..." LHUMC's Fellowship Hall!

ACT is different from other theater programs in that all who audition or express interest are welcome to perform or serve on our tech crew. ACT is a ministry first and foremost, and the youth that participate experience the joy of serving together and making new friends in the process.
